My dear Readers, today I have a little early Christmas gift for you - my free Gift tags from Santa printable! You can print these on sticker paper, or for a more traditional hanging tag, use card stock and some curling ribbon.
For a more rustic look, print your tags on brown kraft paper and use baker's twine to tie the tags on. Either way, these gift tags are a super fun way to keep a little magic in your Christmas, and best of all, you can personalize them!
When you download the tags, they will be blank so that you can fill in the name area and the 'delivery method.'
If you are tech-savvy and want to add your own typed text instead of handwriting on the tags, I used a font called "Mountains of Christmas" on these designs.
In our house, Santa gifts are usually wrapped, and always in something totally different than the rest of the gifts. I adore this Santa's Workshop wrapping paper, but it's a bit on the pricey side. For a more economical choice, check out this reversible foil wrapping paper.
We keep plenty of tape on hand, of course, but if you want to get really fancy, you can use Christmas washi tape instead.
Tips for Printing
Please read before printing.
- Check that the printer is not running low on ink.
- For best results, I recommend printing onto cardstock that is at least "65lb" (normal printing paper is referred to as "20lb"). I like this one.
- Select the highest print quality under your printer settings.
- These printables use a lot of ink so take care removing them from the printer so as not to smudge them.
Printer recommendation: I have used Canon printers for many years, and now have a Pixma model that I love. It is simple to use and produces good quality.
