    Relaxing in a hot bathtub with Lavender Bath Salts is the perfect way to unwind after a long hard day. The combination of Epsom salts and essential oils always makes a hot bath better, and these DIY lavender bath salts are no exception.

    You know how much I love making my own beauty products to give as gifts, and today I'm sharing an easy method for making Lavender Bath Salts.

    There's nothing like soaking in a warm bath at the end of the day and these homemade bath salts take it to the next level!

    Materials

    • 2 cups Epsom Salts, also known as magnesium sulfate - be sure to get unscented!
    • Lavender Essential Oil
    • Dried Lavender Buds
    • Wooden Spoon
    • Measuring Cup
    • Mixing Bowl
    • 4oz Jars
    • Canning Jar Funnel

    Instructions

    1. For each 4-oz jar, you will use ½ cup of Epsom Salts, and 10 drops of essential oil. And for extra lavender goodness, add a tablespoon dried lavender to your bath salts.
    2. Measure the salts into a mixing bowl, then add the essential oil and stir.
    3. Place the funnel in the jar and spoon the salts into the jar.
