The idea of grilling corn on the cob can seem intimidating, but it's really so easy.  And leftovers can be cut off the cob and used in fresh summer salads, which Mr. Juggling Act loves.

The honey in this recipe adds a little sweetness, while the ginger and soy sauce brings a bold Asian flavor. So, so good!

    Instructions

There are only a few ingredients for this amazing grilled corn. Put these on your shopping list:

    • Corn on the cob
    • Fresh Ginger
    • Soy Sauce
    • Butter
    • Garlic
    • Honey
    • Sesame Oil
    • Sesame Seeds

Grilled Corn Recipe: Asian-inspired flavors with sweet corn!

    Tips

    • First - I always remove the husks before I grill the corn. Some people use the husks to grill in, but I prefer to clean the corn first.
    • Then, I always grill over direct heat. Turn every minute or so to get a nice caramelization on the corn.  You want a little char, but take care not to burn it.
    MARINADE

    Instructions

    1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the sesame seeds and mix well.
    2. When corn is done grilling, immediately brush the sauce over the corn liberally, turning often to cover the cob completely. This will make a nice glaze on the corn. It is amazing!
    3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Other Ways To Use the Sauce

This sauce is bold with the perfect amount of spice. You can use it to marinate chicken, pork or beef. It's also amazing as a topping for chicken, potatoes, and veggies in a slow cooker.

Best Meat to Pair With the Grilled Corn

This grilled corn recipe pairs great with grilled pork chops or even your favorite burgers. I suggest my cheese-stuffed burgers - they are out of this world!

It's also delicious with a variety of beef like grilled ribeye or sirloin steak tips.

There is a ton of spice in this corn, so you don't need to choose meats with a ton of kick.

How easy is that? Big flavor and an impressive-looking side dish, but simple as can be! I hope you enjoy this Ginger Soy Grilled Corn as much as our family does. Be sure to pin this recipe for later!

When Is The Best Time To Buy Fresh Corn?

I always recommend buying corn from local farmers or gardeners. Or grow your own corn. There is just something incredibly flavorful about freshly harvested corn grown by local farmers. Typically, corn harvest begins at the end of summer, around September-November.
