This is a great muffin recipe for picky eaters or if you’re just looking for a sweet muffin recipe to try. You can add blackberries or raspberries to these apple berry muffins, too.

    🍲 Storage

To Store: Leftover muffins should be stored in an airtight container. These can be kept at room temperature, however, if it is humid I suggest you keep them in the fridge. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

To Freeze: Wrap each muffin in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Place all the muffins into a large resealable bag. Label and freeze.

To Thaw: Remove one or more muffins and place in the fridge to thaw overnight.

    📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how our Apple Blueberry Muffin recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

You can substitute a third of the all-purpose flour for whole wheat flour if you prefer. Of course, this recipe can also be made with 1:1 gluten-free flour.

You can use whole milk, skim milk, or almond milk in this recipe.

To make this a more healthy muffin recipe, consider adding a tablespoon of ground flax seed or wheat germ.
