Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a 9x13 casserole dish, spray with nonstick cooking spray to prepare for baking.

In a medium bowl, stir the ricotta, parmesan cheese, egg, seasonings, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese until well combined.

Spread a cup of marinara sauce over the bottom of the baking dish to make a thin layer of sauce.

Over the sauce, add a single layer of frozen ravioli. Make sure it’s an even layer.

Drop dollops of the ricotta mixture on your ravioli and spread evenly.
Over the ricotta mixture, sprinkle about two tablespoons of mozzarella cheese and drizzle half of the remaining sauce.
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 24 ounces marinara sauce or homemade tomato sauce
Create repeat layers of ravioli, ricotta, cheese, and marinara sauce until to the brim.
24 ounces marinara sauce or homemade tomato sauce, 20 ounces frozen cheese ravioli, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and remove the foil.
Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
