Homemade Mango Salsa

This sweet and spicy homemade mango salsa is super easy to make. Serve with chips, tacos, burrito bowls, and more!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • cups ripe mangoes peeled, pitted and diced (about 2 large mangoes)
  • 1 cup red onion peeled and finely diced
  • 3 tablespoons jalapeño seeded and diced (about 1 large jalapeno)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juiced

Instructions

  • Once all the ingredients are chopped, toss them together to combine.
    2½ cups ripe mangoes, 1 cup red onion, 3 tablespoons jalapeño, 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, 1 lime
  • Season with salt and pepper, as desired.
  • Serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Notes

You can chop your ingredients as large or small as you like.
Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor!
If you don't care for cilantro, substitute parsley.
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or substitute a serrano pepper for the jalapeno pepper for a spicier salsa.
