- 5 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- teaspoon black pepper
- chopped fresh herbs such as rosemary, parsley, or thyme

Preheat oven to 425 F.
Grease a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
Cut up the carrots.

Toss the carrots with butter and garlic.
