While the chicken is cooking, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package of pasta.
8 oz fettuccine
In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat.
2 tablespoons butter
Add the garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant and lightly golden.
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
Add in the sauce ingredients and cook for 5 minutes to thicken, stirring constantly.
1 cup heavy cream, ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
Taste the sauce and add additional seasoning as desired.
Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat.
Add in the chicken on top of the pasta.
Garnish with additional parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.
