Here is your free Weekly Meal Plan #31 for August 5-11. We've got some great recipes for snacks and desserts, too.

Before we get to this week's menu, I want to share a few things we've been chatting about there this week. You may have seen these before, but all of them have been updated so they're worth taking another look! 😊

    • orange poppy seed dressing
    • first day of school interview - FREE printable!
    • chocolate chip zucchini bread - updated with new photos
    • apple pie smoothies
    • Pemaquid Point Lighthouse
    • Batman party - updated with even more ideas and resources
    • buffalo chicken pasta salad
    • Greek yogurt dip
    • roasted beet salad

    • oven baked chicken fajitas
    • slime ideas for kids

August 5 - Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese

Sunday is a great day to prep for the week ahead. I like to chop veggies (store root veggies in water), boil some pasta, and almost always make a double batch of Shredded Chicken Recipe or Slow Cooker Pulled Pork. This makes the rest of my week so much easier! You could also make a batch of Pork Carnitas and then use it to make enchiladas, tacos, and our new carnitas casserole.

Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese on a light blue plate with a casserole dish in the background

Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese is like a cult favorite. It's the perfect blend of flavors and textures, too!

Since this is a meal that takes a little longer, it's perfect for weekend cooking. Start by making a big batch of Slow Cooker Pulled Pork so that you'll have leftovers for later in the week.

If you're feeling really motivated, you can even double the mac and cheese portion of this recipe for another night!

Serve with your favorite side salad, or a fluffy piece of bread - check out our Breads, Rolls, and Biscuits recipes.

    • Fruit Salads
    • Green Salads
    • Pasta and Potato Salads

August 6 - Pork Lettuce Wraps

    Pork Lettuce Wraps

Loaded with crunchy fresh veggies like peppers, carrots, and cabbage with tender pork, these wraps are one of my favorite meals.

Dinner tonight is a cinch because you already have your leftover pulled pork on hand.

I like to put everything out on the counter and let my family build their own lettuce wraps. (You can also use soft tortillas if you'd rather!)

    More Take Out Inspired Recipes

Love take out? Save some money and try one of these delicious recipes instead!

    • Close-up of Asian Pork Kabobs with pineapple, peppers, onions, and tomatoes.

August 7 - Cheese Stuffed Burger

    BBQ Bacon-Jack Stuffed Burgers #ad #HeluvaGoodSummer #HeluvaGoodCheese

I absolutely adore these bacon and cheese stuffed burgers - they are so amazingly good!

I usually make them with my favorite BBQ sauce, but they're also good with a little Spicy Ketchup or Homemade Burger Sauce.

Whip up a batch of Crispy Fingerling Potatoes or try one of the other tasty side dishes below.

    • Close up of Grilled Veggies cropped square.
    • A pile of Grilled Corn on the Cob garnished with chives.
    • Close up of Cowboy Baked Beans topped with bacon in a small crock with a spoon.

August 8 - Chicken Pasta Bake

Close up of Creamy Chicken Pasta Bake with a serving spoon.

This pasta with chicken is so creamy and cheesy, and the breadcrumb topping is totally delish!

Serve your casserole along with these sauteed Garlic Green Beans with Cowboy Compound Butter (or one of our other delicious Compound Butter Recipes).

If you're not feeling like chicken casserole, try our cheesy chorizo and potato casserole instead.

    More Easy Casserole Recipes

August 9 - Grilled Chicken Kabobs

With a tangy marinade, these ginger and garlic chicken kabobs are so flavorful and yummy!

Rainbow Grilled Vegetable Kabobs make a great side, if you have the time. If not, try my sister's favorite Mediterranean Grilled Vegetables instead.

I also like to serve this with Cheesy Ranch Tater Tots or some other kind of potato side dish.

August 10 - Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner

DELICIOUS + EASY CHORIZO SHEET PAN MEAL

If you like a little spice, this dish is for you! With chorizo sausage and slices of jalapeno, this dish has got some heat. Tame it with some avocado slices and fresh lime.

You can prep the veggies a of time and then just grab them from the fridge when it's time to pop it in the oven.

And since this is an all-in-one meal, there's no need for sides, plus clean up is a snap!

Not a fan of spicy food? Try one of these other sheet pan dinners, or find dozens of easy sheet pan dinner recipes here.

August 11 - Easy Meat and Cheese Platter

Last Minute Entertaining - Simple Meat and Cheese Platter

Charcuterie boards aren't just for entertaining. Grab a big cutting board and load it up with tasty tid bits like dried or fresh fruit, veggies basil pesto with crusty bread, a couple kinds of cheese, hummus, and cowboy caviar or your favorite salsa (find dozens here).

Add some crackers or tortilla chips and maybe some nuts and you have a simple but yummy Saturday night 'meal.'

    Snacks - Granola Bars

With back-to-school around the corner for us, I can't help but think of granola bars.

The ones pictured at left are made with dried cranberries and dried blueberries, but I also really love these peanut butter granola bars.

Check out 25+ of the best granola bar recipes here.

Dessert - Magic Bars with Shortbread Crust

    Shortbread Magic Bars

These bars are so decadent and delicious!

While I like a good graham cracker crust as much as the next gal, there's something really special about these magic bars with shortbread... dare I say magical... sorry for the dad joke!

I love too that these are easy to customize - not a fan of nuts? Leave them out! Add white chocolate or peanut butter chips - whatever your little heart desires, friend!

    📅Food Holidays

    ⭐ Tips

The following may contain affiliate links. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

✔️ For prepping meals, you can't beat having good storage containers. I have some that I use for the freezer, and some that are great for prepped veggies. Check out all my favorites here.

✔️ Make some extra burger patties and pop them in the freezer for another meal when you don't feel like cooking - we all know that feeling!! To make the whole thing easier, grab this burger press - it's totally amazing. I love that it makes uniform burgers, and makes it so easy to stuff burgers, too.

✔️ These are the sheet pans I use and I adore them (so do almost 46k other people on Amazon)! They're perfect for sheet pan dinners, of course, but also cookies, roasting pork tenderloin, and, my son will tell you they work great for building and moving LEGO sets. 😄

✔️ Keep leftovers fresh by using quality airtight containers - these are my favorite.
