When it comes to smoothie bowls, I just can't get enough! I love the endless combinations and how easy they are to make. Plus of course, they are healthy, AND delicious so it's a win all around.

We try to prep fruits and veggies on Sundays after we shop so that they're easy to grab and eat or cook with all week long. It makes my life so much easier. For this recipe, I just grabbed some of the fresh fruit I'd already prepared, so it literally took about 5 minutes to make.

    🧂 Ingredients

Here's how to make the Greek Yogurt Smoothie Bowl with a tropical twist:

    • Greek yogurt
    • banana
    • honey (or other preferred sweetener)
    • kiwi, strawberries and mango
    • toasted coconut, slivered almonds and chia seeds

    🔪Instructions

This is meant to be a brief overview of the recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below.

    1. Blend together the Greek yogurt, banana, and honey until smooth.
    2. Pour the yogurt and banana mixture into two bowls.
    3. Arrange the fruit, toasted coconut, and slivered almonds on top.
    4. Sprinkle with chia seeds.
    5. Serve immediately.

Super simple right? It's so good, and good for you, too.

There are so many wonderful flavors and textures in this Greek Yogurt Smoothie Bowl!

    📖 Variations

There are too many ways to change this up to list in one article! Instead of banana, try blending strawberries or mango. Use other tropical fruits like papaya, dragon fruit, or passion fruit.

You can also add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of coconut milk, almond milk, or your favorite fruit juice.

And the toppings?! If you want more great options, check out this post I wrote with everything you ever wanted to know about How to Make a Smoothie Bowl!

    ⏲️ Storage

Smoothie bowls are best eaten when they are first made. I do not recommend making them ahead of time.

If you have leftovers, you can blend everything up again to process the toppings. Then, pour the mixture into an ice cube tray. The frozen smoothie cubes can be used to make a smoothie for another day!

Your smoothie bowl looks delish - I have only made mine with lowfat vanilla yogurt but I like Greek yogurt too so I'm excited to try this version.

I made this but I didn't have mango so I just left that out and used some blueberries I had. This might be my new favorite snack!

My favorite type of smoothie bowl is very close to this, only I use strawberry yogurt as my base instead of Greek yogurt.

The fresh fruit totally makes this smoothie bowl amazing. It's much better than the frozen fruit, I think.

I used almond milk in mine with frozen pineapple instead of mango. It was delicious and I will definitely be making this again!
