Bacon cheeseburgers are, of course, a classic burger, when it comes to comfort foods, and these sliders take all of those delicious things you love about a burger and put them into a slider.

You are going to love these amazing sliders! The best part about this recipe is that you don't have to stand over a hot grill to make these. They're baked on sheet pans! Honestly, these are so quick because you don't have to make individual patties. Just mix it all up, assemble, bake, and serve with your favorite burger toppings!

Mini cheeseburgers are always a hit whether you’re feeding a crowd, or looking for an easy dinner to make your family on a busy weeknight. These are picky-eater approved and great for either an appetizer or a main dish. These easy sliders are such an easy way to feed a crowd - like for your next game day party.

Ingredients to make bacon cheese sliders.

    🧂 Ingredients

This is meant to be a brief overview of the recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below.

    • Lean ground beef
    • Worcestershire sauce
    • Seasoned breadcrumbs
    • Onion
    • Minced garlic
    • Sharp Parmesan Cheese
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • Muenster cheese
    • Colby or Monterrey Jack cheese
    • Slider rolls
    • Bacon

    🔪Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven 400-degrees F.
    2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
    3. Arrange the bacon on the baking sheet.
    4. Cook the bacon in the oven to your desired crispiness, about 15-20 minutes.
    5. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, blend together beef, Worcestershire sauce, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, and garlic. Do not over mix.
    6. Line a second baking sheet with aluminum foil. Add the beef mixture to the tray and press it down until it's about ¼ inch thick all the way around in an even layer.
    7. Bake the beef for 20 minutes to be medium-well. Remove the pan about half way through to drain off any excess fat.*For these sliders, I recommend medium-well to well-done.*
    8. Remove the cooked bacon and set onto a plate or platter lined with paper towels to absorb the grease.
    9. Remove the cooked beef from the oven and use a sharp knife or even a pizza cutter to cut the beef into 12 even square 'burger patties'.
    10. Cut the rolls in half and place the bottom buns onto a third baking sheet.
    11. Place a 'burger patty' onto each bottom roll, top with Colby or Monterrey Jack cheese and Muenster cheese. (You could also use cheddar, American or pepper jack).
    12. Cut the bacon slices in half and add 2 halves to each burger.
    13. Place the tray of sliders into the oven for 2-3 minutes so that the cheese can belt.
    14. Add the other half of the slider buns to the top of the burgers.
    15. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

    * Note: Ground beef should always be cooked to an internal temperature of 160-degrees F according to FoodSafety.gov.

    📖 Variations

We recommend that you try our easy bacon cheeseburger sliders for the first time just as it is written for the best results because that is how the recipe has been tested.

However, the next time you make it, you might consider one of these different ways of making this great recipe.

    • You can use your favorite cheeses for these sliders such as American cheese, but these would also be delicious with Pepper Jack, or even blue cheese crumbles.
    • Swap out the ground beef for ground chicken, ground pork, or ground turkey for a leaner burger. You will not need to cook the meat mixture as long, however.
    • Add 2 tablespoons Homemade Ranch Seasoning Mix or Magic Dust Rub to your beef mixture before cooking for additional seasoning.
    • Butter the rolls with Cowboy Butter and broil them for just a minute or two until golden brown.
    • Substitute fresh garlic for garlic powder.

    🍴 Serving Suggestions

Serve your bacon cheeseburger sliders with a variety of condiments.

    • Lettuce, slices of tomatoes, red onion slices and pickles
    • Cherry BBQ Sauce
    • Avocado Ranch Dressing
    • Spicy Brown Mustard
    • Spicy Ketchup
    • Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
    • Lime Mayonnaise

    Notes

For best results, use 80% lean or better ground beef.
Tip - If you cannot find sliders with sesame seeds, you can get sweet Hawaiian rolls. Then, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Ground beef should always be cooked to an internal temperature of 160-degrees F according to FoodSafety.gov.

    Back Story:

Want to know what my pregnancy craving was with Olivia? It's cheeseburgers, and these Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders come pretty close to perfection!

These are awesome for cookouts, game day and all kinds of parties.  In fact, I craved cheeseburgers so much, that my mom made sliders for Olivia's 'baby sprinkle!'

Olivia is a big cheeseburger-lover now, too! These little sliders are just the right size for the kiddos - they're easy for little hands to hold and bite!

We made these last night for dinner, although they were full size burgers, not sliders. My review... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the only way we will do burgers from now on. They were absolutely amazing.
