    I am a bath fanatic. I adore bubble bath, bath bombs, bath salts, and anything else that makes my bath feel more like an amazing spa experience.

    I also really love making my own homemade bath and beauty products like this coconut oil sugar scrub that smells just like a sugar cookie! It's relatively quick and easy, and more affordable than shopping at an expensive bath and body store.

    Materials Needed

    • baking soda
    • epsom salt
    • cornstarch
    • citric acid
    • sweet almond oil or avocado oil
    • water
    • rose essential oil
    • dried rose petals
    • bath bomb molds - I used this heart-shaped mold, but there are many varieties to choose from. I recommend silicone molds as I find them the easiest to work with.

    How to Make Rose Petal Bath Bombs

    Here's how to make your own DIY bath bombs using dried rose petals.

    1. In a small bowl, combine the baking soda, Epsom salts, corn starch, and citrus acid. Mix to combine.
    2. Slowly whisk in the wet ingredients.
    3. Add the essential oil while stirring.
    4. Place some of the dried rose petals into the bottom of the mold.
    5. Gently spoon the bath bomb mixture into the mold. Press the mixture firmly into the mold.
    6. Allow the rose petal bath bombs to set for 4-6 hours.
    7. Carefully unmold the bath bombs and store them in an airtight container.

    Variations

    • If you don't have a bath bomb mold, you can ice cube trays instead.
    • Add a little bit of vitamin E oil or rose hip oil.
    • If you like, substitute the plain water for rose water.
    • To add color to your homemade bath bombs, use a little bit of beet powder.

    Materials

    • 4 oz Baking soda
    • 2 oz Epsom salt

    • Slowly whisk in the wet ingredients.
      1 tablespoons Sweet almond oil, ½ teaspoon Water, 25 drops Rose essential oil
    • Add the essential oil while stirring.
    • Place some of the dried rose petals into the bottom of the mold.
