When it comes to fast and easy, you can’t beat this Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops recipe. This air fryer recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and takes just 7 minutes to cook in the air fryer.

Boneless Pork Chops and other ingredients.

    🧂 Ingredients

    • center cut loin chops
    • egg
    • milk
    • plain breadcrumbs
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • all purpose flour
    • seasoned salt
    • pepper (I used white, black pepper also works)
    • garlic powder
    • onion powder
    • chili powder or cayenne pepper
    • kosher salt

This is meant to be a brief overview of this great recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below or Jump to Recipe.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Allow pork chops to sit at room temperature for 15 mins before preparing.
    2. Preheat the air fryer to 390º F.
    3. Pat pork chops with paper towels to ensure they are dry and set aside.
    4. Mix season salt, black pepper, cayenne or chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
    5. Use half the seasoning mix to season the pork chops, then set the meat aside.
    6. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and remaining seasonings.
    7. In a third bowl, whisk together an egg and the milk.
    8. On a plate, mix together the panko and olive oil. You can also omit the olive oil and spray the pork chops with an olive oil spray.
    9. Dredge each pork chop in the flour mixture, and shake to remove any excess.
    10. Next, dip each pork chop in the egg/milk mixture.
    11. Let excess liquid drip off.
    12. Lastly, dredge each in the panko breadcrumb mixture.
    13. Place the pork chops in a single layer into the air fryer basket.
    14. Cook at 390˚ for 7 minutes.

Cooking time may vary due to the thickness of your pork chop and different air fryer models. I use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The National Pork Board recommends cooking pork chops, pork tenderloin, and pork loin to an internal temperature of 145F.

In addition to a liquid measuring cup, measuring spoons, and dry measuring cups, you will need an air fryer and mixing bowls to make this easy recipe. I love this inexpensive meat thermometer for checking the temperature.

    🍲 Storage

To Store: Leftover pork chops should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They'll keep for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

To Reheat: Pop the pork chops back into the air fryer to warm through. This will keep the breading crispy. Start with 3-4 minutes and then check it so it doesn't overcook and dry out.

If you love to reuse leftovers to make new meals, try this tasty leftover pork casserole!

    📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how our pork chop recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

Instead of the seasonings listed in the recipe card, try using Mediterranean seasoning, ranch seasoning, or even our best pork rub mixture. This is a great way to change up the flavors of an easy meal.

You can use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs instead of panko bread crumbs if you prefer.

If you love the flavor of parmesan cheese, add ¼ cup to the breadcrumb mixture before dredging the chops. (This is especially good if you pair it with a little bit of Italian seasoning.)
