To Store: Leftover honey cinnamon butter should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

Compound butters generally keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.

To Freeze: Place the butter into a freezer bag, label it, and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months.

To Thaw: Place in the fridge overnight to defrost.

    📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the Texas Roadhouse Butter recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas:

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract - this is especially good on waffles, pancakes, and quick breads!

Instead of powdered sugar, substitute brown sugar. Keep in mind this will change the flavor profile.

    🍴 Serving Suggestions

I'm not sure if the best part about this delicious butter is how easy it is to make, or how many ways there are to use it!

Texas Roadhouse honey butter is delicious on Texas Roadhouse rolls, of course, but also dinner rolls or sweet potato rolls.

For breakfast, you'll love it on English muffins, French toast, banana bread, and pancakes.

It's a great way to dress up side dishes like sweet potatoes, roasted beets, and carrots, too.
