Now this chicken teriyaki skewers recipe all starts with an easy homemade teriyaki sauce! Now it only takes about 5 minutes to put this marinade together. It's so simple and 100 times better than what you get in a jar.

- boneless skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts
- green bell pepper
- red onion
- store-bought or homemade teriyaki sauce
- sesame seeds - optional garnish
For the marinade: soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame seed oil, sliced green onions
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers be sure to soak them for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling.
- Combine the ingredients for the marinade.
- Dice the chicken into small 1½-inch pieces. Add to the marinade, and allow the meat to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Dice the vegetables into 1½-inch pieces.
- Assemble the kabobs: thread the bite-sized pieces of chicken onto the sticks, alternating with the vegetables.
- Grill for about 6 minutes on each side.

Teriyaki Chicken Skewers

- 3 chicken breast diced into 1½ inch pieces
- 1 green pepper diced into 1½ inch pieces
- ½ red onion cut into 1½ inch pieces
- 1½ cups teriyaki sauce
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce

Instructions
