If you like easy recipes, you're going to love this one for Roasted Frozen Cauliflower! It's a super easy side dish that's ready in about 30 minutes with no fuss.

While I love using fresh produce, I also rely on the freezer section at my grocery store because there are some great bargains in the frozen food section - especially frozen vegetables. It's a great way to save a little bit of money.

Don't be fooled, this healthy side dish is loaded with flavor, and the crispy exterior of the cauliflower make this a fantastic recipe the whole family will love!

    🧂 Ingredients

    • frozen cauliflower
    • olive oil spray
    • kosher salt and black pepper
    • garlic powder
    • onion powder
    • grated parmesan cheese

This is meant to be a brief overview of this great recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below or Jump to Recipe.

    2. Spray with olive oil and toss to coat.
    3. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

    ⭐ Tips

Here are a couple of tips for baking this healthy side dish:

✔️ Arrange the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the baking sheet.

✔️ Roasting at a high temperature will ensure the cauliflower roasts instead of steams and gets mushy. Be sure to allow your oven to preheat.

    🍲 Storage

To Store: Store leftover roasted cauliflower in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)

You can also use leftovers to make cauliflower rice or cauliflower grits.

To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30 second intervals until heated throughout.

    Serving Suggestions

    • Roasted cauliflower is the perfect side dish for so many meals like grilled lemon pepper chicken, oven roasted pork tenderloin, and broiled NY strip steak.
    • You could also add a little bit of basil salt just before serving.
    • Roasted caulifower is also pretty amazing served with our Greek yogurt veggie dip.
    • Serve with one of our delicious compound butter recipes like garlic basil butter or our cowboy butter dipping sauce.

    📖 Variations

The first time you try any new recipe we recommend that you make it just as it is written on the recipe card since that is how the recipe has been tested. However, the next time you make our recipe, you might want to try one of these ideas, like substituting avocado oil or even sesame oil in place of the extra virgin olive oil.

You can roast frozen cauliflower with frozen broccoli or frozen brussel sprouts, too!

I love the versatility of this caulifower recipe! Play with the seasonings until you find your favorite combination. Instead of garlic powder and onion powder, try one of our many seasoning blends instead. Roasted cauliflower is delicious with our Mediterranean seasoning, Italian seasoning, or lemon pepper.

I also highly recommend garnishing with fresh herbs like parsley, chives, dill, or tarragon.
