Finding unique teacher appreciation gifts can be really tricky. However, this one is can be as simple or elaborate as you like and the adorable free printable makes it a little more special. This makes an awesome gift for any teacher - perfect for back to school, open house night, teacher appreciation or the end of the school year.

This is an easy gift that the kids can assemble themselves, too.  You could also include a handwritten note of thanks inside the cup or water bottle for an extra personal touch.

Ethan helped me make this water bottle for his teacher, Ms. Massey.  She's been an amazing influence in his life. She's thoughtful, caring, and knows how to engage the kids. She knows that kids all learn differently and is amazing at adapting her teaching style.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that she's helped me stay sane a time or two when I've had 'one of those mornings', if you know what I mean. (And if you're a mom, you know what I mean!) We couldn't be more grateful to have Ethan in her class this year.

This is as simple as choosing a water bottle or tumbler and filling it with an assortment of goodies, here are some ideas:

    • gum or mints
    • Starburst or Caramels (I try to find things that are nut free)
    • Target or Amazon Gift Card
    • individual powdered drink mix
    • highlighters, markers or pens

Personally, I'm partial to Contigo and Cool Gear when it comes to water bottles.

After that, download and print the free printable. Use a paper punch to cut out the tag. Then use a hole punch to add a string or ribbon and attach it to the cup or bottle.

This year, Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6, 2022 - be sure to mark your calendar!

    🖨️ Tips for Printing

    • Use cardstock for durability
    • Under your printer settings, select the highest print quality
    • Be sure your printer is not running low on ink

A note about printers, I have a Canon 3-in-1 Printer and love it. It's not too expensive and produces great print quality.

    🍎 Teacher Appreciation Gifts

    What is teacher appreciation?

Teacher appreciation week is a way to show gratitude to educators for the enormous role they play in our society. It's not just teaching math or parts of speech or history - it's helping to shape our children into the people they will become!

You can learn more about Teacher Appreciation Week here.

✏️ What do teachers really want for gifts?

Teachers spend a lot of their own money on supplies for their classrooms and students. Gift cards are highly appreciated.

However, if you're like me, you want it to be a little more special, which is why I like adding something that's more personal.

Find out the teacher's favorite store, treat or their needs and make this gift your own.
