Christmas will be here before you know it, and you still have time to decorate your home or make a last-minute handmade gift idea for everyone on your list!

Now, I know what you're thinking... paper mache isn't really quick as you often have to wait until the next day when it is dry. However, these short-cut paper mache ornaments use store-bought paper mache shapes so you don't have to make a big mess with newspaper or tissue paper, flour, paper mache glue, and all of that stuff.

For me, this is the best part! I like being creative and it's not much fun to clean up a crafting disaster. With these, the hard work has been done, so now I can start with a blank canvas and just do the fun part. Heaven knows I have enough scrapbook paper around here to use!

Over the years, I've made a lot of ornaments and other Christmas decorations during the holiday season. These citrus ornaments, marbled ornaments with acrylic paints, paper ornaments, and wood slice photo ornaments.

Ornaments can be the perfect way to deck the halls on a budget! And, these lightweight ornaments are really ideal for garlands as well as your Christmas tree. They're really so simple to put together and a great activity to do yourself or with your kids!
