    When it comes to cute little accents around my house, I like things that a simple and pretty... and inexpensive! Crafting let's me add all kinds of fun homemade and whimsical touches to my home, like my DIY Succulent Wreath Tutorial and Buffalo Plaid Fabric Coasters without breaking the bank.

    DIY Succulent Planter Dollar Tree Craft

    I used a little faux eucalyptus, but you use use these for any small plants. Because the containers hold about two ounces, they make a very good planter for one individual succulent plant. Be sure to do your research on succulent planters.

    Materials

    • nautical cotton rope ( I used the 11 ft package from Dollar Tree)
    • nautical jute rope (I ended using about 10ft)
    • scissors
    • glue gun and glue sticks
    • 6-pack square mini dessert cups (these hold about 2 ounces)

    How to a Mini Make DIY Dollar Tree Planter

    1. Start by adding a line of glue around the bottom of the dessert cup and wrap the cotton rope around making sure to press down so that it adheres to the glue.
    2. Continue adding glue and wrapping until you reach the top.
    3. Cut off the rope and make sure the end of the rope is glued down securely.
    4. Repeat the same to make more cotton rope planters, or use the jute rope and follow the same instructions.
