This new trend has everyone excited and for good reason. Instead of building gingerbread houses, why not liven up your next holiday party by serving your guests a cocoa charcuterie board?!

This Christmas-themed charcuterie board is loaded with cookies to dip into your classic hot chocolate, mini chocolate chips and melting wafers, chocolate bark, chocolate sticks, hot cocoa bombs, and decorative marshmallows. It’s bursting with fun ideas of how you and your guests can build their own decadent mug of hot chocolate!

Similar to a waffle bar, this hot cocoa charcuterie board is a great way for you to sit back and relax after assembling your favorite hot chocolate add-ins and allowing your family and guests to make their own hot chocolate - perfectly customizable based on personal preferences.

Why settle for ordinary hot chocolate this holiday season when you can enjoy a DIY hot chocolate made from a hot chocolate snack board!

This is meant to be a brief overview of how to put together a hot cocoa charcuterie board. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below.

    🔪Instructions

    1. Set up the board with all of your hot cocoa toppings. If you are making this a hot chocolate dessert charcuterie board, add your goodies.
    2. Next to the platter, set a slow cooker. This can be filled with hot cocoa if you are not making hot chocolate bombs part of your menu. Otherwise, you can add your favorite milk or milk substitute. (Keep the slow cooker on low so the hot milk doesn't scald.)
    3. Also near the board, set out cups, napkins, chocolate sauce, and other larger items that don't fit on the board. If you're using hot cocoa mix, set that nearby with a measuring spoon.
