There are so many great spots to stop and take a photo.  Although you can't see much of The Flume, this is one of my favorites from our trip.

    Visiting Flume Gorge NH

The Flume Gorge is an absolutely amazing experience and a must-do for families visiting the Franconia Notch State Park area. The Flume is a natural gorge that starts at the Flume Visitor's Center.

Visitors to The Flume can choose to walk through only the Gorge or do the two-mile loop called Flume Trail, which is what we did. The walk is uphill with lots of stairs. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes. You'll want to plan on at least an hour and a half.

Address: Route 3, Off I-93 Exit 34A, Lincoln, NH 03251

    What is Flume Gorge?

Located at the base of Mt. Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park near Lincoln, the gorge was formed during the Jurassic Period 200 million years ago.

The trail has sections of boardwalk, gravel paths, and stairs that lead through the gorge allowing visitors to see the Flume Brook, Table Rock, and Avalanche Falls, as well as lots of flora and fauna.
