Semi Homemade Chocolate Confetti Cake Mix Cookies

These chocolate confetti cake mix cookies are simple and fun easy recipes you can make with your kids. They're fantastic for bake sales, after school treats, and of course dessert.

Starting with a box mix means you have more time to spend with your children. I love semi homemade recipes for this reason. Cooking with my children is very fun and I enjoy it immensely.

However, they can be a distraction in the kitchen as well. I tend to stay away from complicated recipes when they want to help.

Semi Homemade Chocolate Confetti Cake Mix Cookies

    🧂 Ingredients

    • chocolate cake mix
    • eggs
    • butter
    • oil
    • confetti cake sprinkles

This is meant to be a brief overview of this shortcut chocolate cookie recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below or Jump to Recipe.

    🔪Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.
    2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, oil and butter with the cake mix and mix well.
    3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
    4. Using a small cookie scoop, portion out the cookie dough onto a parchment paper baking tray.
    5. Wet your finger tips slightly and press down slightly to flatten the cookie. (The water will help keep the dough from sticking to your fingers).
    6. Sprinkle the confetti candy on the tops of the cookies.
    7. Bake for approximately 8 – 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
    8. Remove after baking and let sit on the pan for a couple of minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool.

These cookies are awesome for parties and holidays, too! Just swap out the confetti sprinkles for festive themed sprinkles you can find at your local grocery store or online.
