Ingredients
This is meant to be a brief overview of this great recipe. For step-by-step instructions and a full printable recipe card with ingredients, please scroll down to the teal box below.
- Chicken: Boneless skinless chicken breasts cook quickly.
- Half and Half: Rich, slightly sweet, and creamy without being too heavy.
- Garlic: Adds bold flavor to the recipe.
- Chicken Broth: Helps create the sauce to keep the chicken juicy.
- Pasta: Angel hair pasta, or any long pasta, is perfect because it soaks up the sauce.
- Dressing: Creamy, tangy, garlicky, and umami-packed store-bought or homemade Caesar dressing with parmesan and anchovies.
- Capers: These are optional, but they add briny, lemony, and slightly salty notes.
- Parmesan Cheese: It's a bit of a splurge, but freshly grated parmesan will work best for this dish.
- Lemon Juice: Adds a bit of freshness and acidity to the dish to help cut through the richness.
- Seasonings: Lemon pepper seasoning, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. These bring bold, delicious flavor to the dish. You can use store-bought or homemade seasoning mixes.
Variations
- This recipe can be made with boneless skinless chicken thighs as well.
- Use heavy cream instead of half and half for an extra creamy sauce, or add a couple of tablespoons of cream cheese to the sauce mixture.
- Vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, or green beans can be cooked in the cream sauce along with the pasta if you like.
- If you don't have fresh garlic on hand, use four teaspoons of garlic powder.

Ang's Recipe Tips
Save time by using leftover cooked chicken, rotisserie chicken, or your own slow cooker pulled chicken.
For best results, use fresh lemon juice.

Storage
To Store: Store leftover Caesar chicken pasta in an airtight container for 3-4 days. (These are my favorite airtight containers.)
To Reheat: Microwave individual portions in 30-second intervals until heated throughout.
Because of the creamy sauce, I do not recommend freezing this pasta dish.
Serving Suggestions
You can serve this delicious chicken with any type of pasta. Aside from angel hair, my favorite is penne pasta. My sister makes this with her favorite gluten-free pasta. You could even serve it with baked spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles.
If you want to stay with the Caesar salad theme, crush up a few crunchy croutons and sprinkle over the top of the chicken with fresh parsley before serving. (Garlic croutons are my favorite!) You could also add bacon bits on top.
