Back to School Printable - "Getting to Know Me"

    [published_or_updated] · by Angela Paris · Leave a Comment[affiliate_disclosure]

Oh my goodness, is it back to school season already? Why do you always abandon us summer...why? All we did was love you.

Ok, I'll cut the drama (I could keep going though, I could probably write an impressively lengthy and despondent piece on this topic alone. I'd call it Sunny Days of Past—A Pessimistic View of Fall). Instead, I'll share a fun back to school printable with all of you!

By the way, in case you don't already know me, I'm Mandee from Designs By Miss Mandee. I kind of skipped my introduction at the beginning of this post, but you guys are probably so use to seeing me over here by now anyway.

So, have you started getting things prepped and ready for the new school year? Are the kids excited to meet their teachers and see their friends again, or a little nervous? I think I was always more on the nervous side as a kid. That's why I like this printable—it is a simple, yet memorable way for a child to introduce themselves to their teacher. Plus, you can keep a copy for yourself to look back on as well.

My son is still quite young (only a year and a half), so there won't be any school for him yet, but I look forward to giving him this questionnaire in the future. If he could understand these though, I think his answers would look something like this:

What I want to be when I grow up: A competitive eater or daredevil

My favorite memory from this summer: Spinning in the office chair

I am good at: Figuring out how to climb up really high things

My favorite food: M&Ms (I'm not sure why my parents feed me anything else)

What I’m looking forward to this school year: Climbing on more things

My favorite color: The color of my drool when I eat M&Ms

My pets: Lucky (cat) and Delilah (hamster)

The number of siblings I have: 0

My favorite thing to do: I can't decide between spinning in the office chair and climbing on things

Enjoy the printable—I'm sure you'll get some super cute answers from your kiddos. Are you looking forward to the start of a new school year?

P.S. Print out a classroom set of these Getting to Know Me sheets and my Teacher Appreciation Subway Art and include them with some Classroom Supplies for Teachers for a complete back-to-school teacher gift. And be sure to check out my last back to school freebie: a printable lunch box planner.
